How long ago was it sent, it usually takes 1~3 days, and that doesn't count weekends. If that time has gone by, try emailing customer service to see if something went wrong.

This is a manual process so do it before you want VIP

Expect it to take a day or two to process your ID, maybe longer, and keep in mind support doesn't work weekends - but it seems like WorldOps does occasionally process these on nights and weekends.

Since its critical that you are verified before any VIP gift can be activated its a good idea to go ahead and Age Verify now even if you are saving rays or don't have a friend willing to gift you yet. It sucks if you have VIP pending and have to wait a few days for the verification process to use it -- so go ahead and verify if you think you might want to be VIP later.

It is not that hard for most women to get given the rays needed to get VIP free or to find someone willing to just buy VIP for you outright. Just put some info and pics on your profile and make some friends and ask for help and act horny. Guys have to work for it a bit harder but anyone can earn the rays within a month to get free VIP if you want it.

Using Rays

If you have someone else sell the rays for you it only takes about 250 rays to get VIP right now - and this also adds cash paying subs so I think that is a real plus for Utherverse compared to the Web Gifts at 350 rays. But you have to be VIP to sell rays - it would be nice if Age Verified users and former VIPs could sell rays.

It always struck me as a little odd that the market value of rays usually makes 350 worth more than $20 - it would be nice if Utherverse could make the Web Gift VIP gift price tied to the current value of Rays so that it only takes $20 of Rays to get VIP instead of up to $35 worth of Rays (if rays are worth .10..)

Secondary IDs if asked

In some cases it seems that support emails back asking for a secondary ID. So if you have two go ahead and upload them at www.utherverse.com/id/ and you will speed up the process and prevent delays.

Sadly many people do not have 2 IDs that fit the description of what they seem to want - a picture and a readable birth date, issued by some govt agency. I'd like to see clarification on what works as a secondary ID.

Drivers License and Passport are the two some people may have but it seems like most people won't have two photo IDs with age listed. If you have an old drivers license from another state that should work.

I'm hoping we can get some clarity on what works as a second ID -- birth certificate? College or school ID with pic but without age?

Privacy?

Also some clarity on privacy of this info should be added. My impression is that these are just viewed once by internal staff who process these and then probably filed in a secure way or deleted. They recently stopped accepting ID via email attachments because of possible security and privacy issues with that. So Utherverse is concerned about protecting your privacy. I know that is a big concern for many people I explain the Age Verification process to and prevents some people from sending in IDs.

Your name and address are not linked to your account in any way that anyone here can see it. It may be acceptable to black out your address if that concerns you - that is another thing I'd like to see clarified.

Why not add a Credit Card verification process without a VIP subscription?

I'd like to see Utherverse add a simple credit card verification process for something like $1 or $5, similar to the way IMVU handles this. That would automate the system and generate income instead of slowing down support with a tedious manual process and it would resolve the issue of some people not having a second ID if asked.

I'd like to suggest other people ask for this too.


Social Status and showing AV user status in world and on profiles

Another thing I think would be useful is to show an Age Verified banner similar to the VIP ribbon for those verified but not currently VIP.

I've suggested before that adding a new color to those users in world (Orange?) would overcome some of the discrimination that "greenies" see that surely scares away some new users.

An easy way to tell who has verified or has been VIP but expired would prevent some of the cold shoulders that Greenies see and show that a user has been around a while or is wanting to get VIP. Add a few perks like making it possible to decorate Zabys if you are AV so its easier to earn rays and to encourage verifying.

It would also help make possible underage users stand out more, and make it easier for those of us that like to help new users see who is new and who has been here a while.

Ok so here is my issue, a few weeks ago i downgraded my account to basic but recently i was charged for my vip again but never got vip status & just today i paid for vip again with my credit card & still have no vip status????? Wot the hell is goin on here??

well as far as i know, each profile is really a separate account in basic terms, and we are all allowed to have five. you can group 3 accounts together also.
so with that said, if you are wishing to age verify your profiles, you will have to do it for each one you have.
of course with the limit being five as stated by the TOS.
