Since they gave you that answear, i guess that picture u sent was too blurry or something. I suggest you to write to support, and tell them, that you don't have another id with photo on. They will tell you what all type of documents u can send.
Important is that the other id has also your name and birth date on.

Would a full Birth Certificate suffice? given these are not just given out and must be paid for and includes all necessary information

trouble with that one is,it has to be a photo ID

then you are in need of a credit card and pay it that way
these are the only ways you can go
Credit card says you are of age and without it then that is why the ID comes in
without either one you can't get VIP

I have questions about this and sorry if it has been answered already.

But what is done with the information after it has been sent? Is it kept? How securely is it kept? Is it on file or electronically?

And who has access to the information?

If it's disposed of, how is it disposed of?

I think that would be best answered by sending an email to worldops@utherverse.com . Anything said by us members here would only be hearsay, and I don't think anyone would like to mislead you even under the best of intentions.

Usually take 2-3 business days not including weekends.

I did it earlier today. I figured it would only take the batter part of a day; not three days.

And, even when my age gets a verification, I still can't do much without a VIP.

Correct all age verifying is for if you are not a VIP is to stream line the VIP process. Once you are verified another member can "gift" you into becoming a VIP.
(how many more times do you think I can say VIP in one post)

the whole point of age verification is to visually see a government issued photo id to confirm that you're over 18.
