Newbie question here about the RLC. Im having a hard time getting started. How exactly do I find the 3D world (screen)? I double click on Utherverse Client, click launch and a black screen appears for about 10 seconds and then dissappears and then nothing. Also, I have looked all over the website and havent found a link or tab to open it up. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I have been trying since yesterday as well, and get exactly the same thing, black screen for 10 seconds and then it goes. Am I doing something wrong or missing something? d'oh!

I uninstalled and reinstalled.....no luck. Im about to give up, very frustrating because this seems like such a cool site.

When I click launch the windows disappears too ( for me)....but I wait about 15 seconds and it comes back always....

If you are using Vista make sure you are running as an administrator.

Hi,
Many thanks for the kind replies, but I will probably give up as I have even reinstalled it twice, but the same thing happens.... black screenf or 6-8 seconds, then dissapears. Oh well Undecided

Did you have checked the settings of your Firewall. Make sure that this is allowing the client of utherverse all permissions. Even, it would be nice to switch off the parental settings for the utherverse client. It might be blocking RLC.Wink Wink Wink

Been having the same problems. For newbies you ought to make this a bit simpler. Also, How do you search for those close to you, ie. 50 miles away. I live close to three states and the search encompasses the entire state.

Waiting to get going!

As previously posted please visit http://support.utherverse.com and open a Support Ticket. Include as much information as possible about your problem, including any error messages you get exactly.

As far as searching for other users, the Search options include the ability to name a city. You can search state-wide, or for people closer to home, search city-wide Smile
