So I made my own cat outfit (>^_^<Wink and while it looked purrfect on my screen, I looked like a half naked mismatched nightmare on my friend's screen. My question's are:

1) Are textures I load into my folder visible to others (like SL)?
2) If they do not, how do you submit new outfits and textures to RLC so that they might include them in the software?

Thanks =D

If you want others to see your outfit they need to add it into the texture folders
if you want more people to see it add it to Textures: Clothing, Tattoos, etc. here on the forums or in your blog
they were planning on adding a new feature that all new textures could be added when you log into RLC.lets hope its in the new update at some point Smile

maybe someone could tell you if there is a way to submit them to RLC that does this sort of thing..

Let me see if I understand this correctly, kind of step by step (new version):

1) I find the texture files in the /resources file
2) I find the texture I want to edit, e.g., file HUNT_tshirt_.png
3) I edit the texture (e.g., I add words on a t-shirt) and then save either as the same file name OR change the filename (e.g., HUNT_tshirt_biteme.png)
4) I go to my profile/avatar.
5) In the block marked "ClothingTorso" I type in the exact name of the file, e.g., HUNT_tshirt_biteme.png.
6) I save changes in the avatar tab

At this point I should be able to go to the new server, log on, and both everyone else and I will be able to see the new writing on the tshirt.

If that's not correct, what do I need to change or add?

Thanks,

Alas, no. Only you will be able to see the change. Everyone else will see just what they have stored on their hard drive. You'll need to get them to copy the changed texture to their RLC directory in order for them to see it.

Thanks =). I really do hope they will add the feature, as I'm sure others do. *crosses fingers*
