Just wanted to add to Kris_157's comment. It's because of the age verification requirement that they have to limit the scope of the basic experience and, of course, it's a great marketing tool as well.

I see basic members in there frequently. They can't get down on the floor level, beyond the rope, I think. But they are definitely taking advantage of seeing what they are missing.
