Hi all;
Just a simple question.  In the main RLC screen there are buttons like IE; Home, scenes, Dimensions etc.
When I click on Dimensions it shows the various locations,  How is this helpful and how to I go to either of them?
Thanks;

Hello Stelth,
First I must tell what dimensions are:
In the RLC world there are several rooms and areas, and each one has a limit of how many people that can be there at the same time. If more people want to be in the same room or area, a new dimension of that room or area is automatically created. The dimensions are also used to separate straight, BDSM, anything goes and different languages from each other.

Now, why is it helpful to be able to change dimension, and how do I do it?
Suppose you have added a friend, and want to meet her or him. You click on the Friends button, then on the friends tab, and see that your friend is in the hotel lobby. You go to the lobby, but you cant see your friend. You know that she or he is there, but you dont see her or him. If you click on the Dimensions-button you see that there are several dimensions of that room. If you look at the friends-window you see that there is a number to the right of the room-name. If you look at the dimension-window you see the same number.

To go to that dimension, just click on the dimension number and you are changed to that dimension.

If you are a vip there is an easier way: Right click on your friends name and choose go there.

To add to this, Go There does not work when in the same region (street, hotel and so on). Then only the Dimension button works.

Thats not what I have experienced. For me it works at least on the street (just checked to make sure) and I dont remember having any problems with it in other areas. (I am logged in as a normal VIP)
lately, when I find a friend and go to that dimension, the friend is not there. The dimension NUMBER is correct, but no friend.
Are you absolutely sure that your friend is still logged in?
That he or she is listed on your friends list is not enough evidence, since there is a bug that make some items linger...
Sometimes when the list of online friends is too long, I logout and when I login again, the list is shorter (the bug has been reported)
why can't the programmers make the windows wide enough to display the ENTIRE dimension number?
Im sure they can, they just did it scrollable and show the last 4 digits  ;D

But I aggre. They should show the whole number. There are more things I want to be fixed:
