Hey all, I know a lot of you are state side and only really have to deal with PST, CST and EST (or however you label them) but it can still get confusing and for those of us in another country it can be really confusing.

I found a really good time zone program on the net and best of all it's free. I tried finding the website again to show someone else but to no avail, HOWEVER, I still had the download sitting on my computer so I've uploaded it to rapidshare and would like to share it with everyone.

http://rapidshare.com/files/31575172/zonetick_free.exe when you get to the web site select the free download option.

This was mentioned in the forums ages ago when the confusion of different time zones was mentioned. I GUARANTEE THIS PROGRAM IS SPYWARE, ADWARE AND VIRUS FREE should you be curious about getting it. I've been using it for the last 6 months and no problems what so ever.

No, I don't get anything out of this I just wanted to share it with everyone. Smile

Here is a nifty program that the amazing Vixen told me about. http://www.qlock.com

It's a clock program that you can place on your desktop, and have several clocks up at once. I personally have 4 clocks lined up the way that works best for me, all with 4 different time zones of my closest friends and my AbbyGayle. Smile

Check it out, it's pretty cool. And thanks Vix!

Hi all.....downloaded qclock.....but,,,,,what is PST, PDT, EDT, EST....I know what they stand for but how many hours behind are they and what would be appropriate cities to monitor them? (I know GMT!)

Does that make sense?  ;D
I am never wrong. I thought I was once but it turns out I was mistaken.

I think PST is Pacific Standard ie GMT-8 and PDT is Pacific Daylight ie BST-8 e.g. Portland, Oregon of Vancouver, British Columbia,
and likewise EST and EDT are Eastern and are -5 e.g. Portland, Maine, and Toronto, Ontario.
In between are Mountain (-7) e.g. Salt Lake City, Utah, and Calgary, Alberta,
and Central (-6) e.g. Chicago, Illinois, and Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Compare this to the time zone map above for other places to track.

;D That's why I use zonetick you can just set the time zones themselves and not have to know what city to use ;D qclock's a pretty good program though sg, good recommendation. Smile
