Is there a way to turn off the sound in the rooms. We prefer to use Yahoo or skype for sound and currently if you do this in a room you get a bad echo effect. Is there a way to temporarily turn it off?

That does not solve that problem, unfortunately. As far as I know this is not possible yet.

In the current production version, that did not work for me, I still could hear somebody on their microphone. I have not been able to test this in the QA version, because of not having someone there whom I would hear. For some it works, for some it doesn't, the VOIP in the private areas. Shy and I don't hear each other, but I have been hearing somebody else. Will keep an eye on it and report to QA when I know more.

Unfortunately you can click those damn things all you want, and IF it works, it's temporary, lol.

I have all my streaming music and in-world sounds turned off, and I no longer hear the voice, but you have to do it before entering the room.
