I was annoyed too, I want to decorate my own place. I was happy that my place didn't have those things.
I got rid of one by taking the sign I'd already hung and moving it on top of the "pre-placed" item, but the rest is going to take more work. I'd just gotten the room to look like I wanted too.

At this time, they cannot be removed. That may change in the future, but the best thing you can do now is cover them up. Waving from another world with ausmate by my side. -12/2011

If you don't want your picture to be skewed to the entire size of the wall you're trying to cover, you can insert a "wall" to cover the entire old wall (as well as the profile stuff you're trying to cover), and then put your smaller sign on top of that. Unfortuantely, it won't necessarily be the same color as your other walls.

ok so i have a helpful tip to cover up the default stuff in your zaby
what i did was looked for "wall" in the prop-edit and set the script to cache web image and found a picture of a wall pattern or color that most closely matched my other walls and put the url in the box.it covers up the stuff you dont want and doesnt look too tacky. i hope this helps :d

my tv too does'nt work if you want to cover up the default stuff in your room and have the tv in front of it then find "wall" in prop edit and size it according to how big the default wall is then if you want it to look nice set the script to cached web image and find a picture of a wall pattern or color and place the URL in the appropriate text box. then you can set your tv up in front of it and the old wall will not show through. if you need any extra help i can come help you do it
