Chille, Look at your RLC Profile Page. On the Zaby banner is a clickable portion that shows you how to decorate using the editor. Go there and it has a section on this topic, You have to use a dummy_model to create a flame and then place it on the candle............

Setting up Candles and Fireplaces

-set up any object that should be ‘on fire’ and place as desired. Dummy.gml can be used for a flame alone.

-set Script tab to “AttachAnimatedSprite” and in the State check “Sprite”

-Parameters:
Texture: Fire.spr
Adjust X, Y, Z, and Scale as desired.

Well is there anyone who has actually started a fire in the fire place ?

AttachAnimatedSprite is not in the list of strips AttachedSprite is in the list
so i used it

State - I used sprite

I tried to use a wooden box for my material

yes when messing with fire.spr it seems to be small so i used a scale of 100

No fire ???

Thanks

all the scale does is make it the fire larger.....sound like you did it right ....just play with the numbers a little.I used a candle,,,,,,

OK, here's some things to try.

1. Don't try to set fire to something you already have, create the object and set the scripts in one session.

2.On the scripts tab, make sure you have Advanced clicked. This should give you the AttachAnimatedSprite.

3. Set the Scale to at least 200.

Plus all the other things mentioned.

These are things that I found worked for me.

Now to get to work on my sea turtle swimming.
I admit, I don't have an answer for everything. I do however have an opinion on everything. Just ask me.
