I know how to be invisible and hide online status on Utherverse Social Center but don't know how to hide " Online 3D" does anyone have any ideas ?

Checking the "hide my on-line status" option does hide your status on-line and in-world, at least on your profile page. If you are in the top part of anyone's friends list (ie you show up on their own view of their social centre page or in the public view of their profile page) your on-line and in-world status will be hidden. However if they click "view/edit my friends" on their social centre page, or someone clicks "view all my friends" on their public profile it will show that you are on-line and in-world (if you are logged in to either/both).

If you want to hide while you are in-world, you need to change your privacy options so that you never show to your friends (your name doesn't appear in friends lists while the option is set to "never" ) and can't be found in searches. Your name will only show up in the local list for the dim you are in, but your friends will not have a green spot showing next to it on their "local" list.

I think there is another 'glitch' when you try to hide from friends.

One of my friends was not showing as 'In RLC Now' on my Friends list, but when I went to my messages inbox, it showed me that they were in world under their profile picture, alongside a message they had sent to me.

I checked another message I had sent to them and the same thing applied.

Beware if you are cheating on a regular partner :Smile

Ya, u can 'hide' everything, and it will look on front page (if yer on it) that u are off-line, but if u click "view all all friends," the truth is revealed.

Ps, Jola's right, can't alter files. There are a couple of spots, that I know of in world, both in VV, ---->One of them on Casino roof to the right near spotlight, where you can walk your avatar into a "Blind spot", and disapear.

I thought she was talking about being physically invisable, hiding her avatar in 3d. I have seen it done, it involves altering files..
~Seen it in old RLC, not sure if it can still be done.

Yes, but when on your friend list it still says " On Line 3D"...I saw she knows how to be invisible but what she meant is the " Online 3D"

I know, it still appear as " On line 3D" or " in RLC" on your friend list.
