How do i change the word above my avatar?

That is your name who is showed there. You can change it only if you change your name.
If you have a badge, like working girl, that is not changeable there you can only switch it on or off.

If you want to change your name:
1. Open your social centre.
2. Click on "My Profile" then a new menu bar opens directly under this one.
3. Click on "Account Info"
4. Change Your Screen Name: You may change your screen name once for free. After that there is an administration fee of ®50.00 for each change.
5. If you are happy with your screen name, click on the "Change Screen Name" button and it is done.

You can change here also your Password and your Email Address.

Your title is set by the points you have gained. You can turn the title off if you don't like it, or show your title in another category e.g. change your 'Friendliness' title to your 'Karma' title.

I have to say that the lower rank titles are very unflattering
