I’m just doing some research and I would like to know what goes into and/or is required to start up a new family in RLC?

For example:

Does each family have a specific place that is HQ for that family (in RLC)? If so, how does one get a certain place? Is it paid in rays or cash/credit/etc.?

Does each family have its own profile? And/or website?

On a related note, I would like the following questions answered:

1. What do you like about families/clubs/etc.?

2. What do you not like about families/clubs/etc.?

Please keep the responses in general terms, I don’t want this to become a family bashing thread. Lets all share the sandbox okay?

Each family or house does things in the way that works best for them. They are basically affinity groups...people with the same interests who come together for the purpose of friendship. You do not have to have a physical location. There are no minimum membership levels or maximum levels. You can have a profile or a website if you want to...whatever works for you.

1. What I like about families: You get to hang out with people you like. It provides you a starting place. However, your circle of friends need not be formalized into a family or house to provide the same benefits.

2. What I do not like: Some families, when they are in groups, tend to behave like gangs. But most behave like adults and just want to have fun like we all do.

How do you start one? One friend looks at the other and says, "Hey! Let's be a club!" and as if by magic...a RLC Family/Club/House is born.
