downloading textures?

I am trying to figure out how to get downloaded textures to show up on my avi. I have gotten as far as I see my avatar wearing a white shirt, but the shirt should be black.( I have vista computer)

Can anyone tell me how to download them so this will work? or tell me what i am doing wrong lol. thanks

Only one thing has changed. The Folder is not Red Light Center anymore it is since the new client Utherverse.

Although in following the directions for how to wear textures, I don't see the myinfo file that he refers to. Seems to me I can access something like this on my profile page, right? From there I can enter in the file names for different textures on different parts, I think.

Correct the myinfo file is now part of your profile page but it works the same.
