First of all, you need to be age verified. You have to fax Utherverse with some sort of ID. There are details here on the forums if you search. or look at the help screen on your profile.

Once you've got that sorted, you need 350 rays and someone who trusts you. They have to buy you a level 6 gift, which comes with one month free VIP pass. Obviously they can buy you a bigger, better gift if they want to!

Once the gift is received, your account will be upgraded (bear in mind that this can take a couple of hours or sometimes longer). You can then transfer the 350 rays back to your friend (basic members can't send funds).
