There isn't, at least not with the standard tools you are given with your profile. I guess the problem is that if you hide the comments, you'd also hide the button that lets people post them.

There may be a way of doing it with inserted code, from on of those profile pimping sites. I suggest you try looking at a few of those and see if they offer you the option.

If there are any comments you particularly don't want people to see, you could always delete them.
