invited friend but got no rays?

I used the invite thing on the profile to invite him, and he joined and he said it automaticly had my name in the bit about if some1 refered you, but i didnt get any rays for it. is there something he has to do or i have to do, or it takes some time or something, can any one help?

If you refer someone, in order to get the rays, you have to be a member of the Affiliates. just click on the link at the top of your page to sign up

know several ppl got the rays, after they joined, for someone using them as a referral. not fully sure though, just joined it a few weeks ago myself

Make sure they enter your name in the Sponsor box on the registration page.

To put it there automatically, enter your username in the URL below. Then, write custom emails with this URL, instead of using the invite form. When your friend clicks on the URL, it will automatically enter your username in the sponsor box.

I think the invite friends form doesn't put your name in the sponsor box, and when your friend registered, he didn't enter it either. So, that is probably the reason you did not get credited.
