My total ignorance and I'm sure is an easy answer but what exactly does BIS mean when it comes to outfits? I really give it a good college try and look to see if there is any difference in said outfit. Im sure its an easy answer and there isnt any difference at all but that BIS has me wanting to know the what the hell it means LOL.

Thank you for whomever responds, this is driving me nuts...

Can you give us an idea of how it was used? Was it used in an outfit description, or something?

I have never heard of it, either.
Damn you, Addamant, for turning me into a forum whore! *shakes fist*

I believe this is what they are referring to, although I have no clue what it means. It seems to be used by various designers as well as genders.

Hello everyone,

I think I can shed some light on this for once.

BIS stands in this context as a gaming acronym for "Best in Slot".

It refers to a piece of equipment that is the best piece you can equip yourself with in a particular slot in a game. It is used as a gaming acronym in various games, in games like war or shooter games it can be a weapon or another piece of equipment, it can be armor, here it refers to the clothing items described in this way.

Stay safe and be well you all,

divingA
