Roflmao. Okay. what can you make with a peach crate a board and one metal skate? Ans: A scooter you can even decorate the front of the crate with soda bottle caps. umm I didn't make it I was a baby in crib watching people make them. Give those Items to a kid today and say make a toy see how perplexed they look at you.

Not a weekend when I was that age! You were lucky that you got 24 hours! And we would rent five or six at least. lol

While playing a game with my husband and our children, including conversation that goes with it, the following question came up some time ago: Can you fix a music reproducing medium with a pencil?

The answer to the question is: Yes, you can.The cassette tape my children never knew,the cassette tape, which my children never knew, could be rewound with a pencil if the tape got tangled.The compact cassette, which my children never knew, could be rewound with a pencil if the tape ever got tangled.

Our kids looked at us uncomprehendingly. I had to show them one first, and then explain to them how we did it back then.

Technically, yes they still do. That being said, a few weeks ago my son used my phone to go on the library's app, reserve some books, and when they were at our local branch they brought them out to our car for us.

I worked in a big bookshop for 8 years and it was very "oldfashioned" every book had a card inside and when it got to the cashiers they would take that card out and we would receive it before the shop closed , so if i found 3 classics there i knew it was on the booklist of a local school and ordered 15 more of that title.Wink

They might have them still but I think when you go to a library now you look up the books on a computer. At least that is what the librarian does.
