I was wondering if there is a way to have an in-world vote, one vote per member only, for lets say a costume contest using html5 or something else?

googling - html poll open source ip

brings back results to start to have a better ideal some things that could work or with a little modifying work in RLC

The thing is, not all code (html5/css/.js scrpts) works really well inside of RLC (MOUSE/KEYBOARD FUNTIONS other problems)

Some that might have the exact features/customizable might not work real great in the attach chromium web browser

Some may work well but not the features you want

That takes a lot of time testing/resolving/modifying the code problems to be more compatable in world. (have some issues like that left on new player not got to yet, some were easy fixes)

It could be done from scratch something i kind of stay away from (lots of work)

But definately doable i did one (poll) in flash years ago and did have the prevent multiple votes via ip. Kinda basic and will take me a bit to find it on sitv server.
Used it to vote for the Legend Lady of the month (Old club)

Cassey you are wonderful here and i would like to offer more help but between new player and a in world trivia app i want to do for century theater i am over my head and coding/modifying open source gives me headaches litterly.

But but there is a lot of talent here and at least give you hope/ideal it shouldn't be that hard to do/find someone who can.

We'll see and think you'll get it, can't promise but if someone dont pick it up on it i'll look at it more.

Peace

Viegoth used to have something like that, I used several times at the flea market.

Naken had something too, but he is no longer in RLC

Cassey,
I have used https://www.strawpoll.me It's easy to set up, you can see results instantly, and it only allows one person to vote per URL !! Plus it's free !! Smile I've used it a ton and it always works great !! It can be used in world however, they need to connect to the outside browser. I am not sure about something being used actually in world.
