Looking for instructions on making stairs I know there is something out there using a sign with a circle on it to help getting them right but can't seem to find it now any help would be appreciated thanks

What type of stairs are you wanting to build? Are you looking for simple stairs or something more detailed such as spiral stairs?

Post #9 is from SifuPeter and it includes a link to his stair building tool and full instructions. If you scroll down you will also see a video by DurtyJay at Post 17. This may help.
