Is it possible to use a plex server and stream music and movies into RLC

Not without some challenges and special configuring/prep to accommodate the RLC client, possible yes but not something i would choose to invest time into.

Without actually trying it Louie i can not say for sure but it is designed to share/serve/access your media files on your computer across the internet. Should work but like i said it would definitely need some special configuring, coding which i am not sure how open code the plex client-side is and prepping of the media itself for it to work. Not something i would invest my time in and IMO not a good fit for most people's wants/needs in an RLC media player.
