Hi Guys,
Asking for a friend who wishes to self upgrade to VIP with her own Rays. Can this be done and if possible how please?

is your friend still a vip now can if so can go to the market place and buy and sell rays then can gift self as a vip this is all in the social profile home page of member also once sold rays go to withdraw and pick the vip tab if a basic greenie will have to contact support by also must be verified too of age. sir_heat They need to sell rays in Market place when VIP 300 for VIPip 450 UVIP then when basic withdraw and purchase vip they will get 20 rays back so 280 & 430 cost respectively, Not possible to sell rays in the market place when Basic, but can withdraw them when vip runs out.

As already mentioned by others here above, if your friend is not VIP her-/himself right now, another VIP would need to buy her/him the VIP first and thereafter get the rays transferred back. A basic member can not transfer rays to another member. Of course both members involved should trust each other to avoid disappointments.

How to Use Trader Account to VIP from Basic
First Convert RAYs to Cash in Trader Account:
While you are VIP click "BUY / SELL MARKETPLACE" on the right side of your profile home page below your "Bank Account" that shows how many RAYs you have. After clicking you should see a huge list of "Selling" and "Buying" of RAYs in the right. On the left side below "Market Tools" under "Bid Placement" enter the number of RAYs you would like to convert to cash in the "Sell" box. Don't change the sell price from 0.070 or what is there or it probably won't be purchased and you may lose your RAYs. If you enter 300 RAYs and click the sell button to the right of 0.070 you should now have $20.00 if U.S. showing to the right of "Trader Account:" under "Your Portfolio" above where you sold your RAYs.
How to Withdraw the Cash to Purchase VIP when Basic:
Go back to the same place you sold your RAYs for cash on the left side under "Market Tools", but this time under "Cash Transfer" click "Withdraw". That will take you to a page that has a Buy VIP button. It's easy from there.
