That is the basic question as stated. If you have placed someone on ignore, then how are they able to get around that and add you to their friends list?

There have been on going issues with the ignore feature for a while. We've found that blocking them via the profile is far more effective than the ignore in world. The entire client and server code has been re-written and is currently being tested on the QA. Once that is ready and running (which i believe is iminent) then they can start to work out all of the bugs that have been plaguing us for a while.

As far as someone you have ignored. If you have found you are on their friends list, remove them from ignore briefly and add them to your list also, then remove them again through the profiles and that should also remove you from their list, and you can then place them back on ignore via blocking their profile.

Hope this helps
