After more than a decade and with 1000's of users, folks with Zabys and Clubs, why hasn't RLC, World Ops, Utherverse devoted just a "bit" of tech time to providing or solving the issue(s) of a consistent, stable standard for streaming video display in World?

I've looked, I read, I've asked and I've experimented, even sent in support tickets and STILL nothing. No way other than the producers that exist to just simply stream a video with out taking the risk of failure even if you spend real money to have your own server. I mean seriously... pick a format, tell us what we need to have to make it work and be DONE.

After the conversion to Chromium I even sent in a support ticket because while I could play a video, no one else could see it in the same time frame. The reply basically was that Tech Support had similar results but didn't have the time to look further. Really???

Figure out what works, tell us what we need to do and then publish a standard? How hard can that be?
And my disclaimer... as usual, I'd love to be wrong. @KendrickT
