There is a barstool I want to change the seat color for but it is one image. Therefore adding texture to it makes it all the same color. I only want to add texture to the seat and keep the base as it is.
So i looked at the cached web image of the stool and downloaded it. But when I open it in photoshop etc all I see is a flat image with the barstool in pieces.
I tried to add this image to a trigger box to see if it would somehow reshape to a bar stool but nope is shows as a flat image.
My question is this.
How do you shape a flat image with those stool pieces into a 3d barstool? and more importantly how does it know which part goes where on the stool.
Im stumped! is there a 3d mesh im not seeing?
Any help would be appreciated..

A big thank you to member LUNA who showed me how easy it was to do as long as you have the template.
