How do I make a waving American flag?

And also there is a flag in a layout I purchased that I can't remove with prop edit. How can I delete it?

The pirate flag is best to use get the flag out of the prop editor, you can either leave lit or unlit , in the state box type in either an f click enter or put the whole script in it flag_ani, for the flag in zaby you may be looking at the wrong prop for it keep searching till you find.

the animated flag, like the animated curtain prop is not one that you can not simply click on to edit, you will have to find it on your prop list in order to delete or retexture it.

You are looking for "Flag Waving" in the prop list.

Also when texturing it..... remember to flip your texture so the correct side will be against the pole...

so you want your texture like this



not this




to make it wave simply type f into the state tab

The Flag Waving prop won't let you just grab it with the mouse. I always had to find it in the prop list and then delete it from there.

make a curtain prop attach flag texture of choice in actions make the curtain wave no reorient the curtain to make the flag actually look like wind is blowing through it.
the following is credit to RAND from a 1-27-2010 post
You'll need to put an animation in the top of the State tab. Going from and old, faded memory here, but I think it's curtain_ani. Though if you just put in the letter "c" it should start it for you.
