when I upload a texture for clothing that i altered using one of the texture from the texture pack it shows up on the skin wrong covering the entire torso including their hands. What am I doing wrong. How can I get it to show up right and not looking weird on the skin?

Raven,

Be sure that you are putting it on the proper layer. Usually putting it on the wrong layer will cause the texture to show up in unexpected places.

And be sure you have chosen new style instead of legacySmile I have made more than one interesting thing by not paying attention lol
