hi i just wonder how u make a video auto play on the profile if u useing chrome. bc the embedded player i use atm not working with auto play anymore bc it seems chrome changed some rules so it wont work with auto play anymore hope anyone can help me

Is your video youtube or vimeo?

Is it HTML5 or HTML?

What player are you using?

Chrome is a big piece of crap but then again so is FireFox lol

Anyways.

chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy put into the Chrome address bar

then find this.



And put no user gesture is required.

That is the var parameter when doing HTML

i do know recently autostart in Chrome has been hit or miss with Youtube (sometimes starts sometimes don't)

So maybe the embed values for youtube are affected the same way could clear up (html page method i am using has been working ok)


Try using https://www.tools4noobs....ne_tools/youtube_xhtml/

or some of the more recently updated similar websites by googling "youtube embed code generator"

see what kind of parameters they come up with for autostart.

Once you change your Chrome setting everything will be fine. I make HTML bulletins and suddenly they stopped auto playing in the bulletins and profiles etc. First I thought I had to recode the webpages themselves but that is not necessary just make the change in the Chrome settings.

this the code to use for autoplay in chrome :

that 1 on autoplay means nothing if the browser wont recognize it or you have to keep messing with the code when the simple solution is fix the browser~ That is why people are changing the settings.
