Hello,

I would like to take a video of my zab and then add it to the directory so people can click and see what's like. Can someone provide a step by step procedure or a link? Ty Amber.

good question i know i tried 3 or 4 years ago

i think they are for events only not the directory listing

and when i tried that on a event did not have much luck at it.

Seems the ones i seen work are short like preview no sound videos

that play when you mouse hover over them.

BUT i could be wrong on it.

There are 3 possible ways to record video:

First: If you have a gaming PC, press the Windows key and the letter G at the same time to open the Game Bar dialog.

Check the "Yes, this is a game" checkbox to load the Game Bar

Click on the Start Recording button (or Win + Alt + R) to begin capturing video.

Second: If you have Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, Open Windows Movie Maker (Should already be installed, Start > All Programs > Windows Movie Maker).

Look for “Capture Video” Option.

There will be “Capture from video device”.

Run through the wizard for settings etc.

And then Record your Video.

However, Windows Movie Maker is no longer available for download for Windows 10. Record video using the Photos App.

The latest version of Photos app includes the ability to create videos and edit them with music, text, and effects.

Third: depending on your computer, some Windows will let you record using the F10 feature.

Click the REC button or press F10, and the program will start capturing everything on your screen within a few seconds.

Press the Windows key on your keyboard to quickly switch to the Start screen, if you need to.

After you've captured everything you need, press the F10 key to stop recording.

There's also a video recorder built into the game as part of the Video Streaming option. Videos are saved to C:\Users\yourname\Videos\Utherverse.

As for using them as a thumbnail in the directory, I tried swf,flv and mpeg4 formats without success.
