Below is a link to a how-to for managing props for your maps in RLC. For those of you making your own maps or getting a jump start on decorating apartments in readiness for future Zaby use. Please read it carefully before asking questions. I'll keep a eye on this thread to answer what I can, when I can.

The how to is not for those that don't have a good founding in copying files and editing with notepad or other text editor. (Many thanks to Tony for helping me learn enough to be able to write this how-to.)

Sexyone,

I performed the edit on myinfo.  I have had no problem getting into offline mode. But I cannot get the prop loader to show up.

Code:
[machine]<br />TextureDetail=Medium<br />MaxAvatars=60<br />pancake=TRUE<br /><br />[Props]<br />Manager=TRUE<br />XML=TRUE<br /><br />[Users]

Thats my myinfo.

Have you had this happen before?

Anyone have any tips for placing the invisible items like the dance floor and sitting tiles. Is there a flag to make them visible while placing them?

Thanks,

Sloppy Sam

Sam,

The seating tiles aren't invisible, just texture side down when you place them, turn on the double sided texture flag while placing them and you should be able to see them, then flip them to invisible when you are done.

Triggers for dance floors are a little more difficult, I tend to use the fact that the avatar goes invisible in the client with manager mode on to help me place Triggers correctly, not perfect but it works. The older clients would show the bounding box of the item you are working with, but the newer clients no longer do that, unfortunately.
