when you hit print screen on ur keyboard you  then can go into all programs under your start button,accessories and then paints then paste it in there..

Usually to take a screen shot  use the - key to take a pic..you click outside your chatbox and if you want the screen to clear of all chat you can hit the = key and then the - key to take the pic..if you want the chat saved just hit the - key...then you will go into "my pictures" to see it
