Try using shift with the number 2 on the keyboard, not the numberpad, that works for me!

To produce the @ symbol:

You can first try holding the Shift key and hitting the number 2 key and see if that works for you.  Thats the keys we use in the USA.  If that doesnt work then try either of the following:

Try doing one or both of the following:

1.      Go to the directory that Red Light Center is installed.
C:\Program Files\redlightcenter\redlightcenter
In there is a file called myinfo.ini
Use a text editor like notepad to open it up.
Make sure that directly after the WLogonName= is your email address you used to register your Red Light Center account with. ( example: WLogonName=myname@email.com )
Save it, and you are done.

2. Go to your Control Panel (this is under your start menu/settings)
Open the regional and language settings
Go to the languages or general tab
Click the "details..." button
Set your location/language settings to English (United States) - US
Your @ symbol above the 2 should work now.
Enter it into the application (RLC) once, log in, and it will be there forever.
Now go back to your languages settings and change it back to the default settings for your computer.

The issue with the UK keyboard layout and US is a more common issue more and more ppl are learning how to get around. However while guiding i've come accross users with other European layouts which again differ even further, does anyone know of a site that actually shows the varying keyboard layouts we can look at as a reference while  helping other people out.

Rather than stand for 20 mins while a user pushes all the keys on their keyboard in some kind of hit and hope fassion.

Not all keyboards are the same, so that can give some trouble when wanting to hug. After having tried to explain to a Portuguese speaking person how to hug and kiss, for about half an hour, and to find where his slash is, I decided to write it to him in a mail on his profile. Just writing there he needs to type /hug and /kiss. After all, in mail the / shows, while it does not in chat.  That told him enough and he got it to work right away Wink

For those interested, on this site you can find the different keyboard layouts :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout

But that still does not mean those keyboards are exactly like that.

Hell all, I am the "guy from Turkey"

The problem is that ccbill does not process credit card payments from Turkey, even though I own an HSBC credit card.

Thanks to Tana, I was offered a couple of other options for payment, one of which being paypal.

I would like to retry paying through paypal, but unfortunately RLC's paypal account number (or address) is saved in my pc at home. Embarassed

So Tana can you please readvise RLC paypal details at my registered e-mail address?

I am sorry for the inconvenience and will appreciate if you could revert soonest.

Regards,
David
