The workaround previously posted regarding Vista and RLC is no longer valid.  It should work now without having to follow those procedures.  Please let us know if you have any further problems with getting RLC to with with Vista.

I upgraded to Vista and could not get RLC to work afterwards. I have since unistalled RLC and downloaded again. Still the same problem. The window comes up with the error message
rlclauncher.exe has stopped working
Any help appreciated

Ive installed on Vista and everything seams good so far . before i installed i did right click on the exe file and runs as compatible with windows xp sp2  and then i right clicked again and run as adminstrator this seams to be something required for certain programs reading various forums .

The right clicking and running as administrator idea works, but I've found better slightly better way and it actually runs a little smoother once logged in.

Once downloaded, right click the desktop icon.
Click "Properties."
Click the tab that says "Compatibility."
Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Choose your particular operating system and click it.
Check "Run as Administrator."
Click "Apply"
Click "OK"

Not only will RLC run smoother, but you will be able to double-click the icon just like any other program.

My vista installation was succesfull.
Only one thing: i dont hear a sound in RLC. My options are all okay.
Other programs, like mediaplayer give no problems.
Anyone has a sugggestion to fix it?
