Right click on your start menu, click run, copy this in there.... %temp% ..... hit ok, then scroll down the list that comes up & find Utherverse Cache, right click on that folder & delete it, then delete it from your recycle bin. You will find after you do this each time it takes a bit longer than normal to log in but until you do the cache clear again, after that first time, it goes back to normal.

In my opinion, the so called registry cleaners etc. can be risky and may affect programs on your computer in a bad way. I would never use them for any reason.

Technical Support recently gave me this advice for a crash issue I had in RLC. A repair should delete the cache as well, but if not for some reason below is what they told me.

"The easiest way to do this is the following:

Go to your Windows Start Menu and select 'Run' (If you do not see a 'Run' option, you can press the Windows key in combination with the 'R' key to open a Run prompt).
In the box that appears, type the following exactly, then click 'OK':

%temp%\UtherverseCache\

A new window should open, showing one or more folders and files.

Simply delete the folders and files you see there, answering 'Yes' to any prompts which appear."

Celly,

you get a cache clean when ever you do a rlc fix. so there is the way rlc made it to work. ccleaner will only clean your cache if you list it under custom cleaning... otherwise it does nothing.

i do not work for ccleaner, but i do database, network, and programming on the local and server side and ccleaner is literally the only tool that i've found that will clean and repair the registry on a reliable basis. it also clears all your default caches and if you enter the rlc cache address into the custom cleaning feature, then it will clean rlc cache too.

oh, btw, i've used it professionally and at home now for about 6 years and it fixes the problems.

While I do agree that ccleaner is a great program. But the majority of members in here probably wouldn't know how to set it up properly. And with a program like that setting it up wrong could do bad things. I've spent almost half an hour with somebody on voice chat just trying to explain how to navigate the file directory to open a folder of a program they just installed. So for most I think the easiest option would be to run the repair option from the start screen.
