How do you lighten up the great hall only using Textures. I’ve tried a few things. Welcome all suggestions.

I'm sending u a portfolio of the entire project for you to look at https://goldenminded169....om/edge-of-the-universe I turned it into a huge dance club in space lol; btw u can set ur lighting with create light area, I used a lot of world texture editor which usually creates darker surfaces I set the entire great hall at in a trigger box; Ambient color ...123 213 255 to give it somewhat of a blue cast, and did a few areas that I thought should be well lit at ambient color 221 255 255, good luck!

Hi Roxie,
To answer your question, rather than use it as a Promotional Thread, the basic info about lighting can be found in this thread, with additional links.

To lighten it with only textures you would have to set the textures as Unlit in state tab that makes them very bright.
Much better to wrap the whole template in a light area and go from there.
