Mouse. Click and hold left button to swim forwards, and move mouse around to steer.

your keyboard letters will also move you around
A and D will move you back and forth
S will move you back
Z will move you down
W will move you ahead and space bar will move you up Smile

And here's what I used to use before I realized the mouse was the way to go...

PGUP - Swim up
PGDN - Opposite
ARROW/Directional keys - Left/right/fwd/bkw

It was like playing 'Finger Twister' on my keyboard...
