So, how many clothes sales people can sell the same outfit, or did someone leave or get banned and came back as someone else ?

Yes this is a Banned member who is back and uploading all her clothes again.

This is so unfair that someone who has been banned can come back and upload all of their old textures and get away with it...I've been designing for about 4 years now and have worked hard to keep my designs original, now this comes to light!! RLC pleaseeeeeee stop these people from hurting those of us who are genuine and work hard in here

Just report the new profile and force OPS to investigate it.

It is either the same person with a new account or another person who stole the banned members clothing.

Either way, report it.

i m another person! im leaving in Italy and i can prove that.
please. if you can. delete that post on the forum. I would be punished for nothing and I wouldn't mind much not being able to play . I like the game and I made new friends.
i will take away that damn dress from the catalog and I'll put effort to make new clothes personally

Designers get banned for using resources they did not create and/or do not own a proper commercial license/rights to re-sell (ok there was the rays scam gang but it was a matter of time for them anyhow), so buying and re-selling textures that have been deemed inappropriate/ilegale already is not just dumb but against the TOS.
Also there is a strict rule against re-publishing the same item and this kinda falls in that category as well..that rule was put in place to prevent ppl from making mistake double purchases (normally system refunds you instantly if you buy something you already own, even if you deleted it from your closet-which does not apply if the item is sold as a new entry)

so in short, that person is violating the TOS big time in more ways then one...

I used to be nice and message ppl first, but they would always try to lie their way out of it. If she was honest about her desire to create and abide by the rules, she would have taken down all questionable entries by now...

Just report, you`d be doing all the honest designers and shoppers a favor!
btw, make separate report for each entry, cause it takes 3 warnings to ban someone and if you report everything at once, it will be seen as one (I know silly, but that`s how it is)


Edit: RLC does care actually, they acted fast whenever I had my work stolen (ofc I had to report and provide proof/make my case)..you cannot expect them to sit all day browsing profiles and UVC hunting for possible offenders...designers and shoppers need to be vigilant and report any wrong doing...Other games are neutral in such disputes and act only after DMCA process is completed and ruling is made. WO reviews each case, both sides and everything takes just a few days top opposed to several months.

I'd like to put my 2 cents in here, Apparently it is ok to buy clothing from members who have been banned, because I have reported a few times, and that designer that reuploads those outfits is still around... so yeah

Can we have a name, so we can at least boycott them, message them into submission, or get them banned.

For her maybe all it took to scare her off, or switch to a new profile was a personal message letting her know someone noticed.

Actually this person is quite active in forums, and saw my comment on another thread that I had posted in and sent me an email in world about why it was done.

Does anyone know anything about the same outfits becoming sellable from multiple profiles?

Last year one of my friends reported such a problem - I know she did because I helped her where and how to report) She also received a response from WO that they would investigate the matter.

A few weeks ago, I was looking in the catalog and accidentally came across the two catalogs in which the same clothes were uploaded and they are still there, the investigation was not done, the double uploaded outfits are in the same place.
Therefore, 3 weeks ago, I also filed a report. The WO's reply was received that the matter will be investigated.
A month has passed slowly and nothing has happened yet. Is this also accepted in this game?

I don't buy anything from this re-seller any more, if I see her name as 'designer' I just keep walking. I was caught out by her early on, thankfully, only once.

What is happening here is sad. Sad I say this not as a designer, but as a buyer.
I remember when I registered, a friend and I spent whole nights browsing the catalog. We tried on clothes. They weren't 15rays dresses back then. They were priced according to the effort it took the designer to make.
Almost every designer was unique. We had big favorites. We loved browsing the top 20 dresses, just as we loved looking in the catalog. The very detailed dresses cost 30-70 ray, but we saved up enough money to buy them.
Unfortunately, that time has passed. Each costs 15 rays. There is nothing unique, nothing special. Individual creators have left because their work has no value. But the mass uploaders are increasing day by day. I don't like looking anymore. I see a new designer coming almost every week who, without friends, is already among the top 20 designers with 20 uploaded clothes.
I see the same 9-10 designers in the same place continuously in the top list. Boring. It used to be a surprise to look at the catalog every day. It's not anymore.
What happens here is an open secret, but you can't talk about it. Unfortunately, everything is allowed, because in addition to the declining population, the dollar income is also decreasing, so everything that brings money into the game has become accepted.

This was reported to us just over a week ago, not a month. One of the catalogs has been removed as it is a violation of our Rules of Conduct. When this is reported we like to give the member a choice on which catalog they want to keep up on the system, if we don't hear back from them we remove one.

There are still a few of us old time designers around, but our clothing very quickly get's buried when it is released. It takes me anywhere from 2 days to a week to make a single outfit and I and the rest of the Shop Hop designers often critique each others work or make suggestions for improvements before they are released.

So don't be discouraged by those people that post 20 or 30 outfits in a week, just dig a little and look for the ones that Release a new designs once or twice a week or spread a recolored design of a single outfit over several days. We are out there, but you will rarely find us in the top twenty, because we would rather spend our time making something new then play games trying to stay on that list.

I totally agree with Zaoz. I have been a member since 2012 and I have never looked to see what outfits are in the top 20, 50, 100 or whatever. When I want a new outfit I do a search until I find something I like then I try it on to make sure it looks ok on my avi. If I like it then I'll make the purchase. I do have favorite designers so of course I look through their collections first.

I uploaded mt first texture too UVD somewhere in 2010 and had too wait 24hrs for it too be approved and if you mentioned the words "Legacy" or "UVD" too most in the top 20 list they would look at you like "wtf is that" times have changed and those designers most id say that even stuck around till like 2015 with the new style are gone so what you have now is 30+ outfits being loaded a week and there is no keeping up

my question and ive asked it many many times hows does someone who shows up on a monday have 2k outfits in there catalouge already? never did get an answer too that but whatever it changes little and stuff is let go for the simple reason we no longer have the numbers ...sad when a tuesday night is now just at or under 500 in game when 10yrs ago that was 1k + a lot has changed since then and somethings havent but some of us old timers are still here and dont give up

ive slowed up designing due too time ..the desire is there but also as X said if ya drop 2-5 outfits lets say a week they vanish into the mix quick so unless your spamin bully's or forum posts of what you made your pretty much buried

i look forward too Mate and doing stuff in 3D for Unity that will be a test too see how many of these "new" designers are going too keep up like they are now as the system will be quite different but sadly thats a long way off and for now we have too deal with whats going on
