We see many times some friend,

with a funny "buddy" figure beside him or her!

( NOTE: This has to be used ONLY in AG dim or,

in your private or permitting friend's place )

We have to use a basic Legacy avatar, and a "door" prop to make this happpen!

Here we start:


First lets see, how this works:



I apply one yellow texture to see a full door.gml prop, added to a female legacy avi.


Here is how it looks, (viewed from behind) :










I outline the part of the door prop, that is covered by part of the avatar,

so we can adjust our "buddy" with precision : )







Now to create the texture for the outfit,

using this screenshot of the door with the outline,

we start by adding a new, transparent layer on this basic door prop texture








Then, we find a pic we like for our buddy... we clear the surrounding, using "magic wand" on gimp or other program














we add it to our door

we scale it and place it, to the wished point:

Then we make it look more realisting, by deleting the 2nd hand








we move it to the desired place near our avi

we keep only our transparent buddy, by making other layer invisible






Outfits support ONLY square png images, 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048

so we have to RESIZE our image

we save it as .png!!!!

Now we create a female (or male) LEGACY outfit, using a free clothing slot


(other mess is used by long hair or veils, earring is used by jewelry,

so we may use nosering or lipring mesh to use for our outfit

(in this example, we chose nose ring)

Here is the final buddy!
