You can use emotes in the text chat to animate you avatar:
You can use these special characters or you can simply type out the word in lowercase

OTHER HANDY KEYS:

ENTER KEY: toggles in and out of your chat box
/ with cursor outside your chat box, let you view your avatar from the front;
/ again = normal view

- to make a print screen of your screen
= to get rid of the chat text and all buttons, nice for print screens; = again to get everything back

PageUp: --lets you look up
PageDown: --let you look down
Ctrl: --toggles from fast to slow
TO HUG OR KISS: --right click on the person and select either hug or kiss

Another way is by going in world and using your quick bar. Look in upper left side of your screen just below the back arrow there will be another arrow pointing to the right click that to open the quick bar. Should have ten empty slots and ten pages that you can add emotes into. By clicking on the page icon just under the back arrow you'll see a list of emotes you can use. Then just click and drag which ones you want into the empty slots. Hope this helps.
