hi
i'm brand new to this game (joined yesterday,vip) and I'm so confused about it. is there a beginers guide or something?
how do i make money(rays i think)?????
can i get a job??
where do i get different clothes?

any help for a noob would be greatly appreciated

Oh sweety. LOL THere was in the Welcome Center before you upgraded. BUT if you want i can help you in world. Im in Virtual Vancouver. Or i'll try and do a search for you in world and send you a pm.

This link will give you bits n pieces of information that you may find useful

F.A.Q.

You can also go in world and seek out a guide....

click the people icon in the top right hand corner (round the circle)
then in that bix click search
change the selected to 'staff' and hit search, it will bring up all staff members online at that time and you can right click them to PM them and ask them for help


You can also ask people in world questions, most will be helpful enough to help you with anything if you're stuck Smile

Theres a few different ways you can do that.
The easiest way is by rating profiles, pictures, blogs, writing blogs, posting pictures, etc

0.25 Login (Social centre), 1 every 1 day
0.75 Login (RLC - in world), 2 every 1 day
0.10 View a Profile, 10 every 1 day
0.10 Rate a Profile, 10 every 1 day
0.05 Rate a Picture, 30 every 1 day
0.25 Rate a Blog, 2 every 1 day
1.00 Post Blog Entry, 1 every 3 days
1.00 Upload First Picture
0.25 Upload Picture, 20 every 30 days
0.05 Your Blog Read, 10 every 1 days
0.05 Your Profile Viewed, 20 every 1 day
20.00 Upgrade to VIP Unlimited
20.00 VIP Subscription Rebill Unlimited
50.00 Referred VIP Unlimited

They're the simplified version of how to earn Rays daily/weekly/monthly, there are a few extra as well but let's just stick with those for now Smile

You can get a job here if you really want to. There's a huge variety of things you can do to earn money.

Some examples would be....

Designer
Decorator
DJ
Spammer
Dancer
Salesperson
Auction seller
Auctioneer
Working girl/guy
Bulletin maker

To be honest if you can think of a way to make money (without scamming people) then you can probably do it here.

Keep an eye on the forum for people advertising for staff or ask around in world.

You can get new clothes in UVC. On your social centre near the top you can see a link for 'clothing', click that to be taken to UVC, you can search specific items you want or you can search by designer once you get to know a few and have a favourite. You can search the most sold items that day, week, month, all time. There's also free items you can get as well.

Make sure when you're buying anything it is for the right style avatar, if you're New Style only buy NS clothing as legacy ones won't apply to your avi. You can use the try on feature by clicking the little eye icon next to the outfit and looking in world what it looks like before you buy it.

Once you've bought something go to the top of the page and click 'my outfits', anything you have bought will be in there you just have to click apply for it to apply to you in world Smile

Oh and to search places in world look near the top of your screen and look for the 'Explore' button, click that and you will see all the events happening at that time, near the top of that box you can click the 'directory' tab and you can type in places you want to go or things you're interested in and it will find them for you, all you gotta do is click Smile

Here is a link to all the free clothing available in the UVC catalog...

FREE CLOTHES!!!!

you can go nuts and grab it all or use the little eye to try it in world before you grab it. Remember though that you can see yourself wearing the tried on clothes but no one else can.

Greetings. When you first sign into game click on the my profile tab at the top of screen this will open a web page. next on the top is a support tab click on it then you can goto FAQ. This will answer many questions for you. There are some unwritten rules as well please if you can avoid it don't walk through others its like bumping and no excuse me. Don't be a total jerk. And don't be afraid to ask for help.
Here is a few actions explained. To sit anywhere you have to face the object. To pickup an object you have to look for a blue head. Not all object can sit or be picked up. If you ever get lost on the top left is a house click it and you go back to your transport home. The white arrow takes you back to last region the small squares are quick actions. You fill them.in from the small page looking icon just to the left simply drag and drop to the bar of squares. Hope this helped a bit.
