Hover mouse over the row of icons to see the name of each. It's near the center and is a pic of mountains with a sun above. Just click and insert URL.

You are not a pain at all. You do not need to use any icons if using Photobucket.

Just copy and past the IMG code and post it.

Code:

A summary:

From Photobucket's support Page,

Quote:

Email & IM: Use this link to share your content via email or IM. This link will send you directly to the album or photo you're currently viewing.

Direct link: This is the actual web location where your image is stored. Use this link for sites that ask you to insert an image from a web URL.

*** Note! If a forum or blog asks you to use a direct link to embed your photo, the photo may or may not display at full size, depending on the forum and its posting guidelines. Some forums resize images automatically! ***

HTML code: Use this to embed a photo or video on websites like Wordpress, Hi5, Blogger, eBay and more! Your media will display at full size on the page you create.

IMG code: Use this to embed your photo or video on bulletin boards and forums that do not allow you to input HTML coding. Your media will display at full size on the page you create.

Worried about privacy?

Don't worry about pictures linking back to your private album. If you link an image from a private album, the rest of your album stays private.

If link back is enabled, clicking on the image will take the person to that image, and that image alone.

If it is disabled, clicking on the image will take the person to the photobucket.com home page.

*If clicking on the linked image reveals your private album, then you are signed into your account. Sign out, and try again*

Easier ways to get links?

If you need to get a lot of links, and quickly, try Bulk Linking and Easy Linking Mode

Here some pics to explain the differences Smile

as Dusty said, IMG link is easy to use and you just copy paste it

(note: the image is "clickable"

as it contains link to your PB image)

Regardless whether you are using IMG, HTML or DIRECT code, the image is not clickable to your PB if you uncheck the link-back option in your album settings. By not having a link-back option, you prevent others from seeing and copying your PB images if you do not have your privacy settings checked.

Ultra correct comment as always, Dusty Smile

But, linking back to Albums is ON by default,

so I had to point it out !

Here is from PB support, the way to change this:

Change Your "Link Back To Albums" Setting

The Link back to albums option changes the HTML and IMG link codes that your Photobucket account generates.

If the option is unchecked, your shared photos do not link back to your Photobucket account when a guest clicks them.

The HTML code for any photo only links back to the photo itself on Photobucket.

The links do not give viewers the ability to browse your private album,

regardless of your Link back to albums setting.

To do this:

Click on your username in the upper-right corner of the screen,

select User Settings

and click on the Albums tab.

Here you'll see the Link back to albums option near the bottom of the page.
