Hello all

Apologies for this question because it may not be clear what my problem is but I will try to explain it as best I can.

My husband has a layout/property that only he can enter. It is not listed as a layout or a property on his property list and the best explanation I can come up with is explained by a screen shot of my property list which has the same 'plus sign' and clones that he does (but obviously for a different property).



Its one of the clones that is the one that no one else can enter except him....the url is as follows......vww://utherverse.vww/@1049539. And when we do a 'who owns it' search he comes up as the owner. But no where on his list of properties is that url listed nor is the layout listed on the property concerned.

It was his first property and he's kind of attached to it so any suggestions that anyone else has would be so appreciated.

Okay.. so it's a clone.. but it's not showing up under the property in Properties list?

For example..if it's on a Basic Street Vacant, then he would look under THAT property (on Properties list), which should have a + mark beside of it, indicating there are clones of that property.

If he can find the clone/missing layout in Properties list, then he can save it as a layout there and it'll show up as a layout under Properties/Layouts (via Social Center homepage). Unless he saves the clone as a layout via Properties (drop down list on computer screen), it won't show up as a layout through Social Center.

I may be misunderstanding the situation.

Hi BB

You are not misunderstanding the problem, you got it exactly but the only clones that show are not the one we need. And even when we clone it in world it still doesn't work.

The max population is only 1 which is why no one else can go there (just found out). So how do we up the population in world because it doesn't show up on his profile under property list.

Shoot a ticket to tech support with the URL or name of the clone and the base property and have them investigate where it is is my safe bet at this point.

Thank you Dusty, I'll get him to do that. I have searched and searched thru my properties to see if there is a way to make the population bigger in world but can't find it. So tech support might be the way to go.

It's not built on a showroom property, is it? Those will have only 1 as the population cap. If it hasn't been saved as a layout, then of course it wouldn't be showing up as a clone under that property.

I thought you cant get into clones unless the owner gives edit rights?

Since there's a population cap of 1, the visitor can go first and the owner can follow. The owner can always get in even if someone else is there..but you're right, Pryss.. deco rights can allow someone else to go in, as well.

Just want to start by saying... your screenshot just confuses things, as opposed to helping. If you had provided a screenshot from your husband's viewpoint or from within the mysterious property, that might have helped.

That being said, based on the URL provided, this is definitely a Zaby property, and not a VWW. That means that the capacity cannot be increased no matter what. If this is a clone, then the capacity is set at 1 and only those with decorate permissions will be able to enter. Also, it won't show up on anyone else's property list if it is a clone.

The fact that your husband can get to it means that it is listed somewhere. If it's a clone, it will only show on the in-world property manager. It won't appear on the property web page. I guess my question would be, where is the property listed that your husband is able to get to it?

Clones are always listed under the plus sign of the main property and you HAVE to have deco permissions to enter.

Population limit 1 means it's a showroom/rent free version of the region. You have likely mistaken "only he can enter" for "he entered first" limit reached. If I remember correctly owner is actually held to a pop limit 2 so you might try entering first ahead of him but populations greater will require the purchase of the regular version and apply the particular layout to that.

As stated by Viegoth above, if this is a clone, then the capacity is set at 1 and only those with decorate permissions will be able to enter.

Also, it won't show up on anyone else's property list if it is a clone.

We will not know, however, until the owner decides to post.

If this is the case and it sounds like it is and Luna and her husband want to use this clone with reg populations then he/owner can right click the clone selecting Publish and apply the clone to the original region or else right click Save Layout and apply it to a new Region of the same type.

@ Keisha, Fre applied the layout in world and now it shows up in my property list in world (I am on deco) so the problem of me not being able to get in is solved.

@ Dusty, yes we are both UVIP.

Sometimes its the little things that get us here.
