the main ones are sams broadcaster, vdj, or mixxx. now if you want to do video djing that is another animal and one of the sunshine's can give you a better answers for that.

also do not forget you need a audio or video streaming service on top of that. contact me directly DOC and i will reteach you how since EI.

I use MIXXX. I also Que my songs manually, even though there is an autoDj function that allows the fading from one song to another.

I like to mix the song ends and beginnings a bit to reduce what I perceive as "dead air" between songs.

I find MIXXX is more intuitive and easy to use, and it's free.

You will also need a streaming service. There are many out there but pricing can vary a lot so do your research first before settling on one.

Thank you for your response Deanna. I was a DJ a few years ago. I used MIXX then, and learning the new upgrade has been easy. My problem is finding a good streaming service. The one I used before does not seem to be available now. Can you suggest a few that you would recommend?

I use PPS as well, and I have found them to be very knowledgeable and tech savvy. They've always been able to
solve every problem I've had, which is important because I'm tech stupid.

I highly recommend PurePower Streams to anyone wanting to DJ.

In fact, I HAVE sent them referrals many times over, and as far as I know, everyone has been a satisfied customer. I've not had anyone come back to me to say they weren't happy with the stream service.

I use DJ Rebelcow's stream and have since she started it. The only issues I have had with her stream is ID10T issuesSmile

I was going to use Rebels service, but she doesn't seem to be around anymore. I went to her website to order it, but the order never went through. Now what? She hasn't replied to my messages in over a week. I hope she is OK.

Thanks, Susie. I've been to your club and really enjoy the music videos. I just want to concentrate on a DJ setup for now. I might get back to you on a VJ setup later.
