I can´t even count the number of attempts where people tried to "copy" my own club, be it here in RLC, or be it on other platforms, like 3Dsex, the German UV version, or even in Second Life.
Either with just the layout theme, or layout + name. 1 person even copied my VVW catalogue description word for word...
Some asked me afterwards if im fine with it, some didn't.
I would not care to much about it at all, and here is why:Lets be honest here...
The Utherverse 3D World is in such a outdated and partially bad technical shape, in comparison to other alternatives, that it's a wonder why people still using this.
When I look around and asking people why there are still here after 12 years, the almost only reasons are either their friends, or because they are earning money with it.
There is no Ohhhh and Ahhh effekt, or any new concept comming up for years when it comes to hanging around, have a party, entertaining and chatting up each other. It's just iterations and inventing the wheel for the 99th time.
A lot of people and visitors of clubs are just following their habbits and daily routines.
In the end are people pretty loyal to what they are doing, where they are going and with what other people they are hanging around with.
Especially the
"hanging around with their friends" part is one of the reason why people are still loyal the original Club or whatever places as log they exist and their friends are there.
They are always comming back to the original place as long there is activitiy.
I had a break for over 2 years from UV and was still surprised to see over 60 people on christmas hanging around in the place that Im and my team have created and filled with life many years ago.
So from my experience I can just say:
Don't bother to much with chasing copycats or "successor attempts". Continue what you are doing best and stick to your general theme.
People are hanging around in your place for years because they have their reasons. They maybe wander off some time to explore other things, but most of them are always comming back to "their" roots.
Have a nice holiday season everyone
